Since 1992, the Ayers have been
welcoming guests to the remodeled barn which they have beautifully decorated with their
life-time collection of antiques and heirlooms passed down from generation to generation.
In 1998, they completely remodeled the farmhouse on this 10 acre property where Joe grew
up. They can now offer 9 guest rooms, each uniquely decorated with Gails special
touch.

In the barn there are 3 rooms, all with queen beds, private baths with large showers, phones and cable TV with HBO. The barn also features a large living room with a TV/VCR and a kitchenette for the convenience of guests. Located in the barn is the breakfast room where a full country breakfast is served from an antique wood cook stove and a Hoosier cupboard in a setting of kitchen collectibles. Breakfast at the inn will be remembered for Gails great recipes (which she will share) and for the relaxed atmosphere.

Down the lane, a boardwalk and footbridge leads over the creek that flows through the property to the farmhouse that has been completely refurbished and upgraded by Joe and the couples four sons. The house has 5 bedrooms, all with queen beds, private baths with large showers, phones and cable TV with HBO. A fully equipped kitchen allows guests to cook meals if they prefer to dine-in. A living room opens onto another large screened porch, furnished with comfy wicker rockers, and looks out over the pond to a hundred-year-old springhouse where meat and milk were kept cold before refrigeration.
The large porches are great vantage points from which to watch the variety of birds that call Frosty Hollow their home, so bring along your sketch books and your bird guide and binoculars for your stay in this cool valley. The stars at night are incredible, deer and an occasional bear wander through, toads and frogs "sing", and life takes on a much slower pace.

Frosty Hollow is a favorite of the many business people who frequent Adelphia Communications, Telcove and Charles Cole Memorial Hospital. It gives a respite from the hectic hotel travel with a personal touch in an all too impersonal world for the business traveler. Many a CEO has thrown off his suit coat and tie and gone for a walk in the nearby woods.
