Edmund Hurd - Born 1871 Died 1971
Picture taken in his blacksmith shop on Union Street, Galeton, PA Approximately 1913.
He was often written up in Galeton's newspapers for having longest beard. He and
his old maid sister Mae Hurd lived on the South Branch and the home is still
standing. I don't know the address but it is still owned by the Hurd family
and the Hurd Cemetary is on the property.
